Morana Pešutić, gitara, youngmastersMorana Pešutić began her music education at the age of eight in Samobors’ state music school under the instruction of Vesna Faullend Heferer and later on under Ivana Trogrlić. In 2006 she graduated from Music Academy in Zagreb in the class of Darko Petrinjak and started her Master studies at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague with maestro Zoran Dukić.

Besides formal education Morana also had lessons with world’s famous guitarists such as Pavel Steidel, Carlo Marchione, Aniello Desiderio, Laura Young, Marco Tamayo, Marcin Dylla, Goran Krivokapić, Marco Socias, Istvan Römer, Ana Vidović…

Over the years Morana performed in Croatia, Italy, Slovenia, The Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Monte Negro… She has also played in numerous chamber music ensembles. In 2007 she was a co-founder of The Hague Guitar Quartet.

Since 2010 she is a member of Amicorde Guitar Trio, and from that time she is also playing duos with a guitarist Tomislav Vasilj and a violinist Andrea Haber.

Morana is teaching guitar at Blagoje Bersa and Bonar music schools in Zagreb and her students have won highest prizes at national and international competitions.

She is a member of jury at different classical guitar competitions, gives seminars and masterclasses. In 2013 Morana was the artisctic director of Youngmasters and in 2014 she becomes the artistic director of new founded Zagreb guitar festival.
