After nine days of outstanding concerts, masterclasses and other exciting events at the Youngmasters Festival, it’s time to end tenth, jubilee edition of our festival! Concerto finale will mark the end of another successful festival, which took place in Samobor, Varaždin and Šibenik. The concert will be held on Tuesday, August 31 on the MMA Summer stage ž at 7 p.m.
The concert will feature flutists, participants in Marko Zupan’s masterclasses, and will be joined by saxophonists, participants in Lovro Mercep’s masterclasses. Marko Zupan has built a successful international career as a soloist, but also the orchestra player and chamber ensembles player, as well as an excellent improviser, arranger and professor. Lovro Mercep, in addition to being a successful musician and laureate of numerous local and international competitions, is known for his paying special attention to promotion of music by Croatian composers.
Concerto finale will be the last concert at this year’s festival where we had the opportunity to listen to a number of prize recitals, concerts played by participants of various masterclasses and participants of our summer school, as well as Youngmasters Gala concert featuring this year’s lecturers, masterclass participants, winners of the Ida Presi Competition and the EuroStrings Festival.
We look forward to the great atmosphere on the Summer Stage and put an end to another successful chapter in our Youngmasters musical story!
