The Youngmasters Gala Concert, which takes place on August 27th, serves as a celebration of the tenth anniversary of the International Young Musicians’ Summer Class in Samobor. Well-known musicians from Croatian and Europe, alongside top young artists and participants of this year’s masterclasses, will perform at the concert. The stage with a large piano will be located in the open space of the picturesque park behind the old castle, named after the musician Ferdo Livadić. The stage as well as interesting ambient lighting, trees, and greens will be a natural scenery that will add to the beautiful atmosphere. There will also be a video wall that will show close-ups of the stage events.
Celebrated Croatian pianist Aljoša Jurinić, renowned Spanish guitarist Margarita Escarpa, violinist Marco Graziani will be performing at the Gala concert. Pianist Nataša Veljković will play solo and in trio with flutist Marko Zupan and cellist Tobias Stosiek. Lovro Peretić, the winner of Ida Presti guitar competition, will perform with the strings quartet. The winners of that same competition, Antigoni Baxe and Panagiotis Tzortzis will also join us from Greece. The guitar part of the concert will be concluded with a EuroStrings quintet that includes winners of international competitions from 5 different European countries.
Gala concert will also host established musicians from Samobor, including clarinetist Mihael Paar, saxophonist Lovro Mercep and guitarist Morana Pešutić, as well as two top young solo singers, chosen by the famous singing pedagogue Claudia Visce.
