Become a Volunteer: a special offer for guitarists!

Dear guitarists, this year, some of you can win a scholarship (€250) for Lovro Peretić’s masterclass in Samobor, from August 25 to 30, 2023! The masterclass includes 4-5 individual guitar lessons and participation in a chamber ensemble if desired. In order to compete for the scholarship, you will be required to participate in 25 – 30 hours of volunteering in our production team during the Youngmasters Festival. These hours can be done between August 20th and 31st 2023, within 5-6 working days. Volunteering itself will provide you with new organizational knowledge, you will be able to use your already acquired competences and adopt new ones, and the organizer will issue a certificate of volunteering, which can be used to score points for a future scholarship or as an additional recommendation when establishing an employment. As for the lecturer, we believe that you are familiar with his successes, guitar playing and artistic accomplishments. Lovro Peretić won the top of the world guitar scene, and his latest success was winning the GFA (Guitar Foundation of America) last year. He just recently returned from New York, after a concert at the Festival. He was also a member of the GFA jury for some divisions of the competition. In the 50 editions of this competition (1982 – present), Lovro Peretić is the only guitarist from Croatia who has won it. Guitar students who are at least 17 years old, and who have previously participated in Youngmasters will take presedence in competing for the scholarship.
