Morana Pešutić
Morana Pešutić graduated from Music Academy in Zagreb in the class of Darko Petrinjak and continued her studies with Zoran Dukić at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague where she gained master degree. Besides formal education Morana also had lessons with world’s famous guitarists such as P. Steidel, L. Brouwer, C. Marchione, A. Desiderio…
She has performed as a soloist and in various chamber ensembles all over Croatia and in Italy, Slovenia, The Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Monte Negro and Austria.
Since 2014 she regulary performs as a member of Coulé Guitar Duo and in duos with flute and clarinet.
She works as a guitar teacher in music school “ Blagoje Bersa“ in Zagreb (Croatia). Her students have won highest prizes at national as well as international competitions.
Morana is a member of jury in different classical guitar competitions and gives seminars and masterclasses. She is very commited to promotion of classical guitar and as a result she is involved in various festivals and lectures devoted to education of young generations; she co-founded Zagreb Guitar Festival and was its artistic director for the first two years. Since 2017. is an artistic director of „Youngmasters“ festival in Samobor and in 2018., together with Vesna Faullend, Morana started a guitar competition devoted to the famous guitarist Ida Presti. She is also the president of Croatian association of guitar teachers.
