ANTE MILIĆ was born in Paris in 1969. He graduated (1988) and got his Masters Degree (1994) in piano at the Academy of Music in Zagreb, under Professor Zvjezdana Bašić. During his studies, he was awarded at several competitions in Croatia and Italy: Senigalia (1984) – 3rd prize, Udine (1985) – 1st prize, JNMU – 2nd prize (1st not awarded), and „Darko Lukić“ Award (Zagreb, 1987). He performed in around ten European countries as a soloist, as well as accompanied with the most of Croatian orchestras (Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, Croatian National Television Orchestra, Zagreb soloists, Coratian chamber orchestra, Dubrovnik Symphonic Orchestra, Croatian Military Wind Orchestra and others). Since 1998 he has been a lecturer at the Academy of Music in Zagreb. In 2005, he graduated Conducting under Professor Vjekoslav Šutej. He funded the piano cycle Piano fortissimo, Nota bene orchestra, wind ensemble Grand winds and reneissance vocal ensemble Marco Polo. He has been teaching piano at the Academy in Zagreb since 1990, where he is currently an Assistant Professor.
